I set up my catfish rod with a bobber and hook to float next to the boat while I drifed and trolled. I wasnt really expecting to have much luck but it seemed like there were lots of bluegills that swarmed the boat. Good to remember when I can get the kids out with me. I am sure they will be able to catch a few bluegills.

When I was a younger bobber fishing was all I remember Stacy and I doing.
We loved catching sunfish, bluegills and crappies.

I don’t normally use a bobber unless i am in still water.
using a bobber pole works out pretty good in the pit because it doesn’t float around very fast.
