Tonight after dinner I asked mom if she wanted to go for a little boat ride. I was hoping to just put it in the water run around for an hour or so then head back home.
We got the boat in the water with no problems. We got the boat all loaded up and ready to go out. Then after we got comfortable i tried and tried to start the dang thing. I tried everything i could to get it to run it just wouldnt fire up.
So after a long time of trying and trying and trying some more. We decided that we would just put it back on the trailer and figure out what is wrong with it in daylight. So I guess I will try to figure it out tomorrow and attempt to take mom on another boat ride soon.

ya- its true the engine would not start. Jim tried and tried, but I HAD A BLAST even though we didn’t move from the boat launch. I did get out of the house,. got to sit in the boat while it was in the water.
The water seemed so calm and the air smelled so fresh, It was the first time in all these years I have been to the boat launch and here its only a bout 2,3 blocks from the house. their were some people fishing off the other dock. did they ever seem to be having a good time just talking and fishing, maybe some morning I am gonna go with Jim and Jason just to sit in a chair and watch(i don’t have a license, and I don’t want one)maybe I can be the camera lady,If the fish aren’t biting I will just work on crocheting the baby blanket for my soon to be here grand baby.
I did snap a few pictures with my big camera while Jim was trying to get that engine to start.maybe I will post them.
Mom- I know you cant really fish at that cabin right now,but I’m telling ya some night after your kids go home or early some morning when you only have a few kids (there is a big lot and the kids could run, play, ride bikes, and scream all they want.) you should come down and do a little fishing, its alot nicer then I imagined it to be. I really think you would have fun. Then after you could stop at my house, have a cup of coffee and see my new furniture and kitchen appliances. p.s. they have real nice,clean,lighted, portapotties
